Repair Review documents and reports
When you explicitly agree and submit a document, Roadworthy uses Netlify functions, its AI Gateway when configured, and OpenAI to read it. PDFs and supported images are processed in request memory. After mandatory confirmation, the confirmed structured details and any optional owner context are processed to analyze findings, scope and relationships. Original files are not resent for that analysis; VIN and incidental email/phone identifiers are removed before the reasoning request; Roadworthy does not write uploads, extracted contents or reports to a database, object store, public URL, application log or analytics event. An operational usage counter stores only a site-wide request count to enforce the free review allocation; it contains no document or visitor identifiers. Responses are marked private and no-store. The browser keeps review details in memory until you clear the review or leave; browser lifecycle behavior may vary, so use Clear this review on shared devices. Printed or saved PDF copies remain under your control.
Provider retention and choices
OpenAI API content is not used for training by default. Requests use store:false; this does not mean zero provider retention. OpenAI may retain abuse-monitoring content for up to 30 days, or longer when legally required, with additional exceptions under its data policy. Netlify processes request infrastructure metadata such as IP addresses. Its AI Gateway routes requests without storing prompts or outputs under its standard policy; enhanced content logging is not requested. Cover unnecessary personal details before uploading. Do not submit identity documents or payment information. Upload processing consent is separate from optional Google Analytics consent.
No contribution or public sharing
Private documents are not used for public content or a repair-data corpus. There is no public report link, report account or saved vehicle database in this release. A future anonymized contribution program would require a separate, optional consent. Product analytics contain event names, not document text, filenames, VINs or prices.
Website operation
Roadworthy Auto is hosted on Netlify. Hosting providers process technical request data, such as IP addresses and browser information, to deliver and secure the website. We do not require visitor accounts or collect precise device location.
Directory searches
Search and filters run in your browser. Search parameters can appear in the URL and in hosting logs when a page is requested. Do not enter private information into directory search.
Correction and contact forms
Forms collect the email address you supply, the listing or page involved, the type of request and your message. Netlify processes submissions for us. We use this information to review changes and respond; submissions are not published automatically or sold as repair leads. Do not submit identity documents, financial details, vehicle identification numbers or private repair invoices.
Optional analytics
If Google Analytics is configured, it loads only after you accept optional analytics. It measures pageviews and directory actions, such as phone, website and directions clicks. We omit raw search text and form contents from analytics events and disable advertising personalization. You can change your choice using Cookie preferences when analytics is available. Rejecting analytics does not limit site use.
Advertising and external links
There is no active advertising code in this launch version. We will update this policy and implement required consent controls before serving ads. External business and merchant sites apply their own privacy policies when you follow a link.
Retention and requests
We aim to remove routine resolved form submissions after 12 months unless a continuing correction, security or legal need requires retention. We retain a minimal record of published factual corrections to maintain listing accuracy. Use the contact form to request access, correction or deletion of information you submitted.
Children and changes
This general-audience directory is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly solicit their personal data. We update this page when our data practices materially change.
